Second Post of the Day!

Evening All,

Well as Promised I have got another couple of things to bring you this evening, but decided to get them posted tonight as tomorrow will be a hectic day and I will definitely not get time to do it and then I will miss the cut o
f time for some challenges!

So let me get on with it:

Me and my LO wanted to make something for her "Scottish Granny" for Mothers Day which is on Sunday. Well I'll just quickly tell you she has three Grans, but because two live in South Africa as we were originally from there, she has now got an adopted Scottish Granny, which is a very lovely lady which was our neighbour for 6 years but we had to move a year a go, but she still goes to see her very often and she calls her Granny Pam.

So this is what we made her:

  • Materials Needed:
  • Large Daisy Punch/Die
  • Small flower punch for centre
  • 1 inch circle punch
  • Some coloured glitter card or glitter foam
  • Skewer sticks
  • 1 empty toilet roll
  • patterned paper
  • Tacky Glue
  • ink/promarkers
  • Embellishment to decorate to taste
Punch your flower shapes and circles from different colours of card and assemble to taste. You can even buy finished flowers if you don't have all the punches needed to do this.

I assembled all my flowers, then I coloured my skewer sticks with using a promarker and tied the thread around. I just pasted double sided tape across the sticks as I found this was quicker but you can use glue as well, but this will take much longer to dry.

Lastly I made the Flower pot to sit them in.
I just covered my toilet roll using some patterned paper and added the mesh and the bow and one of the extra flowers I made. I cut a circle from matching card little bit bigger than the toilet roll for a base which I glued on with some glue and then I added all the pearls around to make it look pretty.

Well, I hope you like this. Hopefully I'll get some time later to make a full tutorial!

I am entering this into the following challenges:

Thank You for everyone who took time to stop by my blog.
Hope you all found it inspirational. Thank you for everyone who takes time to leave me a comment, just know it is very much appreciated.
